Hey Dolls,
There are so many international budget friendly boutiques out there these days but I've always been leery about ordering from any of them because of sizing uncertainty. So, when Shein offered to send me a few items to try, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to put their sizing to the test.

The first item I received was this Floral Maxi Dress. I got this dress in a size 3x and the fit was generous but it was a very open v-neck (I had to pin it closed). I love the beautiful mustard yellow color and the print. This dress is much brighter in person and the print is vibrant and pretty. The wrists are adorned with small gold buttons that add a victorian touch. I chose to wear the matching belt as a scarf. I can totally see pairing this with a nice coat.

The next item I received was this beautiful Botanical Embroidered Mesh Top. I got this top in a size 3x and it fit a bit snug in the arms and bust but it wasn't too tight...just a bit snug for me.

The last item I received was this easy breezy Princess Seam Dress. I got this in a size 3x and it was also a bit snug in the arms and chest. This dress has a lot of stretch and is super soft. I love it and only wish is were a tad looser up top. It was a bit chilly today so I decided to add some layers.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with Shein. I just knew that everything was going to be too small based on their size chart...but everything fit. I gauged my size according to the size that the model was wearing and her measurements (the site lists this info), not their size chart.

Hey Dolls,
OMG! I'm wearing PINK!!! I've never really been a fan of pink clothing because the color seems so juvenile to me. However, when I saw this jumpsuit on sale at Asos, I decided to give it a whirl - and I absolutely LERVE it.

Also, it's perfect for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Ladies, please check your breast monthly for any irregularities and consult your doctor if you're concerned about ANYTHING. If you are 40 or over, you need to get a mammogram every 1 to 2 years. Early detection can increase your chance of finding breast cancer before it spreads. The link above has a self breast-exam guide and a plethora of information on the subject.

Hey Dolls,
IT'S FALL Y'ALL!!!! When I think of fall, I think of cool weather, changing leaves, pumpkins, food, and fashion. Catherines reached out to me to join them in New York and New Jersey to try out some of their new fall styles. I was elated to join them because I've never tried anything from Catherines before. Well, you know what they say about first impressions. I was blown away by the comfort, quality, and style of every item I wore and can now say that I'm a proud Catherines Girl. I mean...just look at that joy!
When I arrived in New York, I changed out of my traveling clothes and put on this full slip. It was smooth, comfortable, and looked great on its own but New York was a bit cooler than Texas so I layered on this amazing dress as a jacket.

No outfit is complete without accessories and these black booties with metallic heels fit the bill. I also thought a bold necklace would pair well with the neckline of the slip underneath.
I met up with my blogger boos Jezra and Misti who also rocked Catherines styles. We hung out all day and went to a fantastic dinner later that evening.

Jezra and I thought it would be fun to switch out our jackets/ponchos (we're such blogger girls...haha). I loved this poncho and need to get one for myself.
The next day, Catherines took us on a road trip to Abma's Farm in New Jersey. We hopped on a hay ride through the farm to a pumpkin patch where we got to pick out our own little pumpkins to keep.
My outfit for the pumpkin patch was more casual as I wanted to be comfy yet cute. I wore the softest top I've ever had on my body and layered on my new go to vest with the most comfortable pants on earth.

After we finished our hay ride, we shopped at the farm's market and browsed through the seasonal plants and flowers. This little farm was just too cute.

I had an amazing time with Catherines and my blogger boos Jezra and Misti. A special thanks to Kate and Kellie for organizing and coordinating this trip. I laughed hard, made new friends, ate good eats, all while looking cute in all of my Catherines styles.

You can shop all the looks from my trip here!
